Ray Harroun, winner of the first Indy 500 in 1918
Welcome!
That's not me in the picture, it's my Grandfather's second cousin, my most famous relative.
I'm a Dad, husband, mechanical engineer, Triumph enthusiast, Search and Rescue Team member, and stained glass craftsman, although I can't seem to find enough time for all my interests.
If you are looking for a mechanical engineer, check out my resume, and send me an email. I've worked around accelerated electrons for most of my career, in one form or another. Currently I am working on a device which uses a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to measure voltages on .18 micron wide (.00018mm) traces on semiconductors. I was project manager for a 300KV e-beam processing machine, I've worked as a manufacturing engineer, mechanical engineer, and finally a project manager making medical linear accelerators for cancer treatment, and currently I'm group leader for a semiconductor testing system based on a scanning electron microscope.
If you are interested in TR-3's, I've got some pictures of my car, and links to other good sites. There are some new pictures, and updates on my progress.
I've been working in stained glass for many years, strictly for fun. I've gotten good enough that one of my recent works is permanently installed in my kitchen. Click here for some pictures.
I am also the Scoutmaster for Troop 429, in the Muir District of Contra Costa County.
